![]() In my quest for knowledge I put together BEST SUSPENSION THREADS I am pretty much a n00b in this myself, but do claim to be the first to raise the 675 trail issue: Greater trail gives more leverage to the force resisting this (the force that makes the front stable) and flatter rake (that often goes with more trail) moves that forward edge (forward of the fork turn axis) farther away from the tarmac. Counter-streering helps, but the whole setup is unstable. Tucking in, as I understand it, is when you are leaning hard and the front wheel turns towards the ground, as if its forward edge has caught the asphalt. ![]() I've never had a bike tuck in on me before the 675, but then again I never pushed the other bikes as hard. I've been thinking about this a lot since I bought the 675, 18 years since I got my bike license. These are good questions, and I hope someone will answer them properly. ![]()
